Life Support System & Maintenance Manager
This position is part of a diverse team that is responsible for creating a memorable and impactful guest experience. As one of the first aquariums to be built in the US, Children’s Aquarium Dallas has a unique history while also showcasing leading edge technology and interesting animals as part of the experience. We are looking for an energetic individual who is passionate about Management and preventative maintenance of all life support system (LSS) equipment, including pumps, sand filters, UV, and other equipment that are critical to animal health. Essential Functions
With a strong emphasis on creating exceptional guest experiences, this position is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operation of life support system equipment while maintaining the needs of the animals.
Skills & Experience
Knowledge & Skills
A great attitude and dedication to providing world-class service is not only preferred but required. Preference will be given to outside-the-box thinkers and those with a general go-getter attitude. Previous experience operating, maintaining and building life support systems is essential in aquarium or waterpark. Knowledge of basic water chemistry and the knowledge and ability to adhere to OSHA standard is required.
