The Life Support Technician is responsible for maintaining and performing maintenance on pumps and life support systems in the Zoo and at off-site structures along with special construction projects and assisting with facilities maintenance when needed.
Functions & Responsibilities
Essential Functions
-Repair, replace, troubleshoot pumps, pools, and life support systems
-Assist with construction and maintenance projects
-Read blueprints, mechanical drawings, and other diagrams to complete projects
-Quality control for accuracy
Skills & Experience
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent

Physical Requirements
-Lift up to 50 pound
-work in extreme weather conditions (Florida)
