Water Quality technician to maintain salt water filtration and ponds in aquaculture facility.
Functions & Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Perform daily water chemistry testing
- Analyze data and adjust water parameters based on analysis and SOPs.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of water quality program.
Other Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform daily scheduled maintenance
- Manage 1 junior staff member
- Make recommendations and perform experiments to improve water quality and growth parameters.

Knowledge & Skills
- Water Chemistry procedures
- Data logging and trend analysis
- Purchasing and sourcing of consumables
- Budget management
- Staff management and scheduling
Education & Experience
- B.S. in related scientific field
- 1-2 years experience as water quality technician for public aquarium
Job Requirements
Physical Requirements
Sit, stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs independently and walk for extended periods of time. Significant portion of work is in water up to waist deep.
