Join us and help build the new Seattle Aquarium! Organize, plan, and execute the installation of LSS equipment and piping at the client location. Manage staff of union plumber/pipefitter personnel to complete the work to best in class LSS practices.

Functions & Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Perform LSS plumbing, rigging, and assembly work to meet the assigned schedules.
• Plan, implement and manage LSS installation and repair tasks in accordance with assigned priorities and goals.
• Adhere to relevant safety regulations
• Manage and guide the use of machinery and equipment
• Allocate and delegate responsibilities
• Supervise, train and give feedback to staff
• Ensure equipment, tools, supplies other resources necessary to meet scheduled work are available and in good condition
• Attend and participate in planning, coordination and logistics meetings
• Inspect and ensure quality control to meet functionality animal health needs
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience

Knowledge & Skills

time management, talent management, excellent verbal and written communication skills, working proficiency in Excel, budget management, Expert level LSS plumbing skills, capable with general hand and shop tools common to such projects, capable of machine/equipment repair

Education & Experience

Experienced at LSS build/maintain required
Experienced LSS Supervisor of other LSS staff required

Job Requirements

Physical Requirements

Stand, sit, bend, lift up to 50 lbs. independently and frequently. Ability to safely ascend and descend ladders and stairs. Frequently outdoors and/or exposed to the elements.

Working Conditions

Work site is active construction site. Appropriate PPE and Safety Standards to be maintained at all times. Team environment with a mix of union and non-union staff. Work site is downtown with limited parking and limited access to leave and return during lunch and/or break periods. Work is day shift Monday-Friday with some overtime available but not guaranteed.

Salary & Benefits
Salary: $58,000-$66,000 per year
$28-$32 per hour
Full benefits including PTO, 401K with match, 100% paid major medical.
