This position is responsible for assisting with operation, maintenance and repair of the life support, building, and mechanical systems at the Alaska SeaLife Center.

Skills & Experience
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED with training or certification as a building controls technician, electrician, refrigeration mechanic or other recognized trade or the equivalent.
Operations Technician 2:
- Completion of an Aquatic Animal Life Support Operators (AALSO) certificate or training or certification as a building controls technician, electrician, refrigeration mechanic or other recognized trade and two years’ experience in a similar position or the equivalent.
Operations Technician 3:
- In addition to the above, Completion of Aquatic Animal Life Support Operators (AALSO) II certificate or training or certification as a building controls technician, electrician, refrigeration mechanic or other recognized trade and four years’ experience in a similar position or the equivalent.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
